FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: Why do I need to select a Line of Insurance and State before asking Chat a question? A: These selections give Chat the regulatory context needed to return accurate results. Different states and product types have different rules, so choosing the right filters ensures the insights are specific and relevant.
Q: Can I ask questions about multiple filings at once? A: Yes. Chat supports referencing multiple SERFF Tracking Numbers, document names, or file names in a single prompt.
Q: Where do I find my past Chat conversations? A: Click the history icon in Chat. Your full conversation list appears on the left, and you can reopen any thread with one click.
Q: What is the difference between Chat and Chat with Documents? A:
- Chat is used for researching filings available through Blaise.
- Chat with Documents is for analyzing specific documents you upload from filings, and focusing only on them. In this mode the conversation and answers received will only be within the selected documents context.
Q: Can I view or download the documents inside a filing? A: Yes. Open any filing from Filing Search and you can view all included documents. You can also send them to Chat for deeper analysis.
Q: How do I see the filings related to an objection? A: In Objection Search, click any objection to open the related filing and access its full document set.
Q: Can I share Chat answers with others? A: Yes. Click the copy icon on any answer and paste it into an email, document, or message.
Q: Why can't Blaise access my emails? A: Blaise only receives your name and email address to set up your account. It has no access to your inbox or personal data.
Q: Who can see my history and answers? A: The only one who can see your history is you. Historical chats and answers are visible only to the person who asked the question.
Q: What if I receive an error in Chat? A: Check that you selected a Line of Insurance and State. These filters are required. If the issue continues, contact support.
Q: Who can I contact for help? A: Reach out anytime at support@getblaise.com.
